Welcome to Two Dog Blooms and thanks for visiting! My name is Alison and I am the owner and sole member of my locally run flower business.  For the last decade, my primary career has been an emergency room nurse and I have truly enjoyed my time spent alongside incredible coworkers and serving my community in times of need.  I am still working occasionally in this capacity but have also recently discovered a new passion for flower farming and floral design, as it brings joy and happiness to myself and others through creative energy. Hence, Two Dog Blooms was born!

     Through my work with Two Dog Blooms, I been able to connect more deeply with nature and am very passionate about having a more eco-friendly approach to floral design. I now grow many of my own flowers to use in my designs as well as limiting single-use plastic products whenever possible, never using floral foam, and composting most of my organic waste. I am working towards expanding the business into a larger flower farm to allow for a more sustainable and climate responsible practice in the near future.
